January Beauty Favorites

Hey everyone! I've been so excited to write this post because I'm seriously in love with these 5 products. I just realized that I haven't done a monthly favorites post since October, so I'm way overdue for some serious positive product reviews. I hope you're all off to a great start to 2015, and I hope you enjoy this post!

Read below to see my favorite products from last month!

1. HEALTHY SEXY HAIR LEAVE IN CONDITIONER

I received this leave in conditioner as a sample in my Ipsy Glam Bag about a year ago, and I quickly used up the entire bottle. This stuff smells great, comes with a lot of product, and has really made a difference in the health and strength of my hair since I've started using it again. I spray this onto my hair after it's been towel dried, and then I brush through it with a comb. Best of all, this stuff is so much more affordable than the It's a 10 conditioner I usually use. I bought this bottle at TJ Maxx for $9.99, so compared to the usual twenty something dollars I spend on a smaller bottle of It's a 10, this stuff definitely comes out on top!

2. LUSH "BIG" SEA SALT SHAMPOO

Quick question: can Lush do no wrong? Seriously, every product I've tried from them has been absolutely amazing, and this shampoo is no exception. It took me a while to get used to how gritty and un-sudsy this product is, but the end results are definitely worth the initial unfamiliarity. If you're looking for more volume and body for your hair, then I highly recommend that you give this stuff a try! It's made with sea salt, seaweed infusion, and citrus juices, which together help to clarify, soften, and add shine to your hair.

3. THE BODY SHOP VINEYARD PEACH CREAM BODY SCRUB

Confession: I originally only bought this stuff because it smelled like heaven. Seriously, it makes me want to marry a peach and grow old with it for the rest of my life...but it's also a really good body scrub! This is one of the first products I've ever tried from The Body Shop, and it's made an amazing first impression. I've been using this on my legs in the shower before shaving, and it does a great job of exfoliating and softening my skin. I can't wait to buy more of this when summer gets here so my legs can be ready for shorts and sundresses!

4.  LA VANILLA PURFUME ROLLER IN "PURE VANILLA"

It's going to be difficult for me to describe just how incredible this fragrance is...but I'll try. If love, happiness, heaven, and the most delicious candle in the history in the world all came together to create one smell-it would almost smell as amazing as this perfume. Maybe. I've never loved a perfume this much in my life, and I kiiiind of want to buy a lifetime supply of it right this very minute in case it ever goes out of stock. The next time you're in Sephora, do me a favor and sample some of this for yourself. You (and everyone around you who smells you from that point on) can thank me later.

5.  BITE BEAUTY HIGH PIGMENT PENCIL IN "SABLE"

For my last January favorite, I'm going to tell you an embarrassing story. I went to Sephora in November with some friends from work, and I decided to purchase the Best Bite Remix Holiday Collection that came with four beautiful miniature lip crayons. I got up to the register, only to have my card declined. Twice. Because I'm poor and can't responsibly manage my money.

Long story short, I wanted the collection so badly that I ended up ordering it online the minute I got paid the next week, and I'm so glad I did! It was really hard for me to choose a favorite out of the four  shades, but I decided on "Sable" since it's the most wearable for every day occasions. I'm also in love with "Rhubarb" and "Winterberry", but still find "Pomegranate" to be extremely intimidating because it is so red. I love these crayons because they're super buttery, pigmented, and long lasting. I don't think the collection is available for purchase anymore, but I highly recommend the rest of their high pigment lip pencils!
