Product Empties: October-November

Hi everyone, time for another empties post! Since I've started holding on to my used up products, I've realized that it seriously takes me forever to go through something in its entirety, and it's a really big deal once I finish a product because it means I loved it to the very last drop. Read below to see what I've used up in the past two months!

1. Cover Girl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation ($12.99)

I originally bought this foundation around April of this year, but started using it again once I noticed I was quickly running low on my favorite high end foundation from Tarte. While this is pretty expensive for a drugstore foundation, it really is worth the price. 3 in 1 means that this product acts as a primer, foundation, and powder all in one; and while I'm not so sure how true that claim is, I did notice that this product has a lot of staying power and coverage as opposed to your standard drugstore foundation. Another great thing about this product is the extremely wide range of colors available for nearly every skin tone, which should be something that every foundation line offers (I used the shade "Classic Ivory").

2. Lush The Olive Branch Shower Gel ($9.95 for 3.3 fl oz)

Y'all. If you've never had the heavenly pleasure of smelling this shower gel from Lush, then I offer you my sincerest apologies. I am in mourning over the fact that I used this stuff up to the very last drop, and I need a refill of it immediately. I did a review over this product in my September Favorites post (click here to read it!), so I won't bore you with why I think it's so amazing, but I just felt the need to remind you how great my love is for The Olive Branch scent. I'm not ashamed to admit that I've been sitting here writing this post whilst occasionally sniffing my empty little Lush bottle. My name is Jessica, and I am an addict.

3. It's a 10 Miracle Leave-in Product ($18 for 4.0 oz)

Are you guys ready to learn about my number one holy grail hair product? Because here it is. Yes, this stuff is really pricey, but it is so. worth. it. I spray this in and brush it through my hair right after I get out of the shower, and the magic begins almost instantly. First, it acts as a leave-in conditioner, which leaves your hair feeling super soft and health. In addition to that, it works wonders for detangling, acts as a heat protectant, protects and seals colored hair, adds body and shine, and repairs damaged and dry hair. Hello, that's like a million products all wrapped into one little purple bottle of magic. The only downside to this product (aside from the price), in my opinion, is that it smells kind of peppery. After using it religiously for almost 3 years, I'm totally used to it now, but it would be so great if it smelled like candy or something. Oh well, still worth it, still awesome!

4. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser ($8.99)

If you've been reading my blog for the short few months it's been in existence, you'll know how much I freaking adore this concealer (also reviewed in my September Favorites post linked above). After finishing this one, I replaced it with a new one in a slightly lighter shade, which I like even more than the first one because it really brightens the eyes and instantly makes you look wide awake. I'm really surprised that this stuff only costs roughly $9.00, because it's definitely of high end caliber. Trust me on this, if you haven't tried this concealer yet, just do it. You'll fall in love.

5. Benefit The POREfessional Primer ($31)

Since finishing this product a few weeks ago, I've been scraping by on tiny little samples of it that I've received over the past year or so from Ulta. The struggle is real, and I'm in desperate need of a replacement primer ASAP. The first time I felt the consistency of this stuff, I was honestly mesmerized. It's so silky and buttery, and blends into the skin like a freaking dream come true. It really does minimize the appearance of pores, and definitely makes foundation and concealer sit better and last longer on the face. I wish it weren't so expensive, but, like all of my favorite high end products, it is well worth the price.

6. EOS Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream in Vanilla Bliss ($3.49)

By far the cheapest product on this list, this shaving cream has been my best friend over the past few weeks. Shaving my legs is honestly one of my least favorite chores in the entire world because my legs get super itchy and irritated afterwards, which usually makes me want to either rip my limbs off in a fiery rage or pledge to never shave my legs ever again. This shaving cream has more of a lotion type feel than a lathery foam, which makes it super moisturizing and non-irritating for my sensitive skin. It smells delicious, and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth afterwards. The packaging says that you can use this shaving cream on wet or dry skin, and while I haven't tried it dry yet, I'm sure it has the same effect either way due to it's creamy and moisturizing formula. All hail EOS for their body and lip products, they officially win the hydration award.

Thanks for reading! Comment below and let me know what you've finished recently, or if you've tried any of these products. :) Happy Saturday!
