Product Empties: December-April

Wow, so I haven't done an "Empties" post since November, but since then I've realized how incredibly rare it is (and how long it takes me) to completely go through an entire product. I'm also a creature of habit, so a vast majority of the makeup items that I finish are the ones that I repurchase time and time again, which doesn't make for the most interesting "Empties" posts.

But, I have gone through quite a few products since my last post, and the fact that I used up every last bit of the items in this post means that I liked the product a whole heck of a lot. So, without further ado, here are some of the products I've used up in the past few months!

1. CHI Shine Infusion Hair Shine Spray

I'm normally not a huge fan of shine boosting finishing sprays, but this one from Chi is kind of my savior lately. Not only does it smell incredible, it gives off such a fine mist of product that leaves your hair looking shiny and clean but never oily or greasy. I love using this on days where my hair feels a bit dry or fried because it gives my straightened or curled style a fresh-from-the-salon look. I honestly can't get enough of this stuff, and I repurchased it the exact same day this can became empty.

2. Calgon Lavendar Vanilla Bubble Bath

I would be lying if I said I didn't take bubble baths at least 4 nights a week. My bathtub is definitely my comfort zone, and propping my iPad up on the side of my tub and watching Netflix while pretending I'm in a jacuzzi  on vacation is pretty much my favorite thing to do ever. I haven't always used bubbles until recently, but now I use them every time because they contribute to the ultimate "Ahhhh" relaxation effect. This bubble bath from Calgon is super affordable, lasts a long time, and smells amazing. I need more ASAP, plz.

3. Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser

It's been around two weeks since I officially ran out of this face wash, and I'm having some serious withdrawals from it. This purity facial cleanser makes your skin feel so soft, plus it completely washes away makeup and dirt from your face, all while smelling like the most delicious creamy lemony scent known to man. I love trying anything from Allure's annual top products list, and this face wash is definitely worth the hype.

4. Dove Body Wash in Pistachio Cream with Magnolia

I actually purchased this body wash about a year ago, but I didn't completely finish it until recently. I found a sample of it in a magazine advertisement, and I absolutely fell in love with the scent and had to buy it immediately. It's such a unique sweet, floral, and nutty mixture of smells, and the texture of the product itself is incredibly luxurious and creamy. Even though I have sensitive skin that has a tendency to get itchy after using heavily scented body washes, this product only made my skin softer, smoother, and much more hydrated. I need more!

5. Pantene Pro-V Damage Detox Shampoo + Conditioner

I switch up my shampoo and conditioner a lot, so it's pretty rare that I buy the same kind twice in a row. That hasn't been the case with these two products, however, because after finishing them, I immediately went out and bought them again. I'm pretty much obsessed with this duo; the shampoo is really cleansing and minty, and the conditioner is a total game changer. It seriously leaves my hair feeling as soft and healthy as leave-in conditioner does-that is a big deal, people! I highly recommend this for anyone, especially if you have dry or damaged hair!

6. Simple Soothing Facial Toner

This is my most recently finished product, and I need to repurchase it ASAP because it's a very vital step in my daily skincare routine. I love applying this in the morning before my moisturizer because it leaves your skin feeling so clean, refreshed, and awakened, even if I'm too lazy to actually wash my face beforehand (which is often). I love this toner from Simple because it really is a simple product. The ingredients are soothing, minimal, and super safe for sensitive skin. Plus, it contains witch hazel, which is really good for drying up excess oil production (something I desperately need).
