Fall Outfits & Wish List

I can feel it coming; the crisp morning air, the smell of burning leaves, pumpkin flavored everything, and Halloween candy popping up in grocery stores. Fall is approaching, and I couldn't be happier! There's something about this season that just fits my personal approach to fashion, be it the loose layers, emphasis on neutral colors, or the overall cozy vibe of it all; this is definitely my season. After skimming through my Fall board on Pinterest,I found a few of my favorite outfits and attempted to recreate them. I've tried to list cheaper versions of most of the items in each collection, however there are a few items that I loved too much to deviate from...ack!

Without further ado, here are 4 outfits for 4 different occasions that I would wear the absolute hell out of.

1. Lazy Basics

This outfit is perfect for days where you want to look presentable, but putting actual effort into your appearance just isn't going to happen. I would personally wear this (and recently did wear something similar) on a casual Friday night date or night out to a bar with friends. It's comfortable, stylish, and still has a little splash of what I like to call "sassitude" with the heeled booties.

(This could easily be paired with a denim jacket for chillier days/evenings.)

A. White T-Shirt (Forever 21, $9.99)

B. Black Jeggings (American Eagle, $29.99)

C. Black Faux Leather Booties (Forever 21, $37.80)

D. Leather Double-Strap Watch  (Urban Outfitters, $32.00)

E. Gold Midi Ring Set (Nasty Gal, $12.00)

F. Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics Palette (Ulta, $29.00)

2. Pumpkin Comfort

This outfit makes me want to go to a farmer's market and buy an abundance of gourds and squash. Even though the idea of Fall is here, it won't actually feel like fall in Tennessee for a while, which makes outfits like this a perfect transition between the seasons. I also think this would be super cute and comfortable for class, especially with this gorgeous Fossil bag/laptop case. So studious.

A. Orange Sweater (YoyoMelody, $25.00)

B. Grey Pocket V-Neck (Madewell, $25.00)

C. High-Waisted Denim Shorts (PacSun, $39.95)

D. Sydney Work Bag (Fossil, $298.00)

E. Ankle Booties  (Nine West, $119.00)

F. Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner (Ulta, $20.00)

3. Hot Prints

I've had my eye on this dress for quite while. I'm normally one to steer way clear of animal prints, but I love the way this dress combines such a busy print with such warm fall colors, it's super cute yet still remains classy. Paired with black knee highs and ankle booties, this outfit screams Fall to me. I'm also a huge fan of Oxblood in the colder months, especially on the lips, and this gloss from Too Faced goes perfectly with the overall feel of this collection. It's love.

A. Cheetah Print Dress  (Fossil, $138)

B. Black Knee-High Stockings (Urban Outfitters, $14.00)

C. Black Suede Booties  (Old Navy, $37.00)

D. Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Berry (Ulta, $21.00)

4. (Cosby) Sweater Weather

Midterms are awful, and potentially even worse than Finals due to the fact that they don't signify any sort of freedom or relief once you're done with them.

This outfit makes me think of late nights at the library writing papers and studying for exams, where the only consolation for all your hard work is a delicious caffeinated beverage from Starbucks. On days like these, my appearance calls for little effort (if any at all), so a simple BB cream and naturally rosy cheek stain are just what I need.

I also really want a pair of jeans like this. I need them.

A. Camel Pea Coat (Lookbook Store, $54.00)

B. Aztec Sweater  (Debenhams, $31.00)

C. Distressed Skinny Jeans (Forever 21, $27.90)

D. Black TOMS  ($48.00)

E. Essie Lacy Not Racy Polish (Essie, $8.50)

F. Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream (Ulta, $8.99)

G. Tarte Cheek Stain in Tipsy  (Sephora, $30.00)

Thanks for reading! I'd love to know which of these looks you liked the best, or what your favorite fall fashion staples are! :)
