Ipsy Glam Bag Review: April 2015

Ipsy time! I can't believe this month's Glam Bag has already arrived at my door-April is seriously flying by, which means it'll be time for summer before we know it! This month's Glam Bag theme is "Beautifully Bohemian", and, hello, how cute is this bag? This is definitely the cutest one I've ever received, and the goodies inside are pretty great too! Read below to see what I got in this month's Ipsy Glam Bag, and visit my first Ipsy Review post if you want learn how to become a subscriber as well! :)

1. Hikari Cosmetics Blush in "Tango"

To start things off, I'm so excited that I got this blush in my bag! It's a beautiful color, I love the packaging, and it's huge (and retails for $15)! Getting a full-sized product is always like hitting the Ipsy jackpot, especially when the product is as nice as this one is. The actual color of the blush isn't as pigmented as it appears in the photo, which is totally fine by me because neon pink blush is not something that I would be first on the bandwagon to try.

2. Lather Ultra Light Face Lotion

I use a moisturizer with SPF 30 every day, but I've recently been on the lookout for a moisturizer to use at night that doesn't contain SPF. This face lotion truly is "ultra light", which I really like, since my skin is oily rather than dry. It has a nice scent and contains ingredients that are supposed to be great for those with problem or acne prone skin. I'm excited to add this to my night time skin care routine!

3. theBalm Cosmetics NUDE Dude Eyeshadow in "Fit"

Ok, I love this eyeshadow. As I've mentioned before, I tend to stick to extremely neutral and matte shades on a day to day basis, but this shimmery copper color is definitely an exception. I wore it to work today on my lid and blended a shimmery light brown into the crease, and I really loved the way it turned out! It's so gorgeous and flattering, and the product is super pigmented without looking too "overdone" for daytime. It's slightly similar to a couple of shades in my Urban Decay Naked 2 & 3 palettes, which excites me to experiment with those a bit more in the near future.

4. Gallany Cosmetics Lipstick in "Petal"

I'm fairly certain that this is my favorite thing I received in this month's Glam Bag. It's rare for me to wear lipstick, but I've already worn this shade twice in the past 3 days (that's a big deal, FYI). The formula is really creamy and smooth, the color payoff is gorgeous and long lasting, and it doesn't have that weird, heavy, and sticky feel that other lipsticks seem to produce. I'm really loving this!

5. Mullein & Sparrow Lip & Cheek Tint

I'll probably get the least amount of use from this product, but I'm still excited to try it out! I'm much more likely to use it as a lip tint rather than a cheek tint just because I'm afraid using it on my face will make my already oily skin look greasy; but the color is beautiful and I'm a huge fan of the packaging. The pigmentation is incredibly sheer, so this would be a nice choice for minimal makeup days or when you just want a little extra moisture for your lips.
