It's Ipsy time again! It's been well over a year since I got my first Glam Bag in the mail, and I still get so ridiculously excited each month when I receive my shiny little pink package on my doorstep. This month's Glam Bag is called "Floral Fantasy", which features products with bright and sunny colors that are perfect for Spring. Aside from the fact that the bag is super gorgeous, I have a feeling that I'll be using up all of the products I received, which is honestly pretty rare for me to do. Read below to see what I received in this month's Glam Bag! (And, as always, click here to read my first Ipsy Glam Bag review if you're interested in subscribing!)
1. Coolway Glow Oil Treatment
I've yet to try this product, but the reviews online are pretty mixed. A lot of people said that the sample size did nothing for their hair, while the reviews on the Coolway website are great. This treatment is supposed to add shine and smoothness to your hair without added paragons or harsh chemicals such as alcohol, which makes me really excited to try it!
2. Pixi by Petra Mesmerizing Mineral Duo in "Apricot Glow"
I've recently strayed away from wearing matte eyeshadow 24/7, so I think I'll actually get a lot of wear out of this duo from Pixi. I love shimmery neutrals, and these shades look so pretty together, especially when used as a lid/crease combo. I've used a few items from Pixi in the past, and I really love this brand because of how natural and cruelty free their products are!
3. NYX Cosmetics Butter Lipstick in "Pops"
Lip products from NYX are always super moisturizing and smooth, and this butter lipstick is no exception. This color is really natural and flirty, but also quite pigmented at the same time, which I think is absolutely perfect for Spring!
4. pur~lisse beauty pur~delicate Gentle Soy Milk Cleanser and Makeup Remover
I'm always really excited to receive cleansers in my Glam Bag, so I was obviously happy to give this product from pūr~lisse a try. The first thing I noticed when using this cleanser was how similar it felt to the Neutrogena Naturals face wash I reviewed in my February Beauty Favorites post, though this cleanser is a bit more watered down. It's made with whole oats, white tea and soy milk, so it leaves your face feeling extremely soft and clean, plus it's sulfate free so it's good for your skin. It also smells great and does a great job of removing all of your makeup, even mascara!
5. Boo-Boo Cover Up Concealer in "Medium"
Unfortunately, this concealer is a few shades darker than my natural, slightly ghoulish skin tone. Maybe I can get a bit more use out of it once I get a bit of a tan within the next few months, and I hope that's a possibility because this seems like a pretty nice product. According to the product description on Ipsy's website, this is more than just a concealer for every day blemishes; it can actually be used on the body to cover up bruises, scars and other imperfections on the skin, and it even contains ingredients that promote healing. Pretty cool!
