Ipsy Glam Bag Review: May 2015

Hot damn, it's already time for another Glam Bag review! I know I say this every single time, but seriously, where has this past month gone? I'm already having a great start to summer, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store! This month's Glam Bag from Ipsy was full of fun new samples to try, and the bag is adorable too. Keep reading to see what I got, and, as always, click here to read more about starting your own Glam Bag subscription!

Glosses from left to right: 1. UD Revolution Gloss in "Bittersweet" 2. UD Revolution Gloss in "Failbait"

1. Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray

I love getting hair product samples in my Ipsy bags because I truly use them up, and I especially love receiving anything from Briogeo. Their products have always been great, and I'm sure this leave-in conditioner is no exception. It contains rosehip, argan oil, and coconut oil, which help to hydrate and moisturize your hair without weighing it down. It also works to reduce frizz and protect your hair against heat and UV rays, which is perfect for the upcoming summer months!

2. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil and Revolution High-Color Lip Gloss

I'm really excited about this product from Urban Decay-I'm a sucker for face primers, so the idea of a primer for your lips is something I can totally get on board with. It's apparently supposed to keep your lip color on through eating, drinking, kissing, or whatever other activities you and your mouth choose to partake in. I'm wearing it for the first time today, so we'll see how it goes!

3. Klorane Smoothing and Relaxing Patches

As I've mentioned before, I'm not a huge fan of getting skin care products in my Glam Bags, but these under eye masks seemed like an interesting thing to try. I wore them this morning while I was fixing my hair, and they're really soothing and cooling, and help to reduce puffiness after you've just woken up. They're made with cornflower, arnica, and chamomile, which work together to de-puff, moisturize, and brighten your complexion. The bag came with 2 packets of patches, so I'm definitely saving my second pack for the morning after a long night out!

4. IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+

I was super excited to receive this sample;  I've never tried anything from IT Cosmetics before but I've always wanted to give their stuff a try! The first thing I like about this CC Cream was that it smells amazingly good for a face product (it took me a while to figure out what it smells like, but this stuff smells just like lemon drops). Even better than the smell, this CC cream has SPF 50+, which I loooooove! The consistency of this product is also great, and the coverage is perfect for minimal makeup days. I'm wearing it right now and I love how glowy and healthy my complexion looks! I might just need to buy the full sized version of this stuff before my vacation this summer!

5. Skone Cosmetics Pretty Eyes Automatic Eyeliner in "Navy"

I'm fairly certain that I've received this exact same eyeliner in a previous bag, but I decided to wear it on my waterline yesterday just to test it out. First of all, this color is a bright navy, which I like. Secondly, this product stays put. I swatched it on my wrist yesterday and after taking a shower and washing my hands several times since then, you can still see where the swatch was. Even though I probably won't wear this shade of eyeliner again any time soon, I do like the overall formula and consistency of this product!
