Ipsy Glam Bag Review: September 2014

It's my favorite time of the month again! For any of you who aren't familiar with Ipsy, it is a $10 per month beauty subscription bag that contains 5-6 deluxe or full sized makeup, hair, skincare and body products from a variety of well known and recognized brands. Each month features a specific theme (September's theme is "Street Style"), which all of that month's products center around. Best of all, the products come in a super cute collectible makeup bag that's completely different from month to month. The only downside to this subscription bag is that it does not currently ship internationally, but it does ship to Canada, the United States, and US territories. If you're interested in getting an Ipsy subscription (which I highly recommend), click here and read below about this month's Glam Bag!

1. CAILYN Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss (in 08 Love Affair)

This full sized lip gloss is a beautiful deep magenta that appears opaque in the packaging, but is actually quite sheer and light on the lips. I think it will be perfect for wearing to class or work this fall, as the color is still dark and moody without being too over the top for daytime. This product is definitely going in my backpack.

2. Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask

love getting hair product samples in my Ipsy bag, because I'm really not the type to go out and spend a ton of money on high end brands when it comes to my hair. I do, however, always go through  all of my sample hair products, especially masks. I recently finished a tube of a previous bag's sample, so this mask came at the perfect time! This smells wonderful, and the consistency of the product is super thick and creamy, so I have very high expectations as to what this product will do for my hair. It's also made with avocado, almond, aragon, and rose hip oils, and "super hair-essential vitamins". Yesssss.

3. Pacifica 7 Free Nail Polish (in Red Red Wine)

Pacifica is one of my all time favorite brands to receive in my Ipsy bags, and I was so excited to open this month's package and see that I received this gorgeous deep red nail polish. This is my first time trying Pacifica's nail polishes, and I really hope it lives up to my expectations. The packaging is adorable, just like every other product from this brand, and (as always) it's also 100% Vegan and cruelty-free. I think this ox-blood color is perfect for fall, and I will definitely be painting my nails with this very soon!

4. Crown Brush Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush

Most of the brushes I've gotten in previous Ipsy bags have been rather hit or miss, but I'm really excited to use this one from Crown Brush. The shadow side is incredibly soft, while the crease side is very dense and comes to a precise point at the end. I love the way the bristles look, and I can't wait to test the quality of this beautiful brush!

5. LeeAnni Eco 3-in-1 Revolution Light

Out of all the products that Ipsy offers, skincare products are not exactly my favorite. However, I'm kind of excited to give this one a try, as it supposedly is a toner, serum, and moisturizer all in one bottle. The sample size is pretty small (0.5 oz), so I'm not sure that I'll be able to use it long enough to see any benefits from it, but I'll definitely give it a shot. I love that the ingredients are gluten-free, natural, and vegan, and the description on Ipsy's website even says that all of the ingredients are edible except for the wax and rose-hip oil. Pretty cool!

I hope you enjoyed reading about my September Ipsy bag! Are you a Glam Bag subscriber? If so, I'd love to know what products you received this month! :)

I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!
