Hi everyone, I hope you all had an amazing and relaxing weekend! The weather in Tennessee was crazy, as usual; it's been raining almost non-stop since last week, but I'm really enjoying the cooler temperatures.
Around two weeks ago, I received the beautiful Lorac Pro 2 Palette in the mail after ordering it off HSN, which also included an eyeshadow primer and a full sized mascara for just $42 (whereas the palette and primer alone currently retails for the same price at Ulta, and the mascara currently retails at $23). Let me just say that I'm pretty much obsessed with these shades, especially the selection of matte and shimmery neutrals on the left half of the palette (shown below). So far, my favorite combination is to apply Rosé on my lid and then blend Nectar into the crease and deepen it up with a little bit of Lt. Brown. As someone who religiously uses the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette on an almost daily basis, this palette from Lorac has offered a breath of fresh air into my very minimal eye shadow routine.
I'm slowly creeping my way over to the more bold and colorful side of the palette, and hopefully I can wear colors like Plum and Jade without looking like someone who ran away from the circus in the middle of a lion taming act...but we shall see!
Do any of you have this palette? If so, what are your favorite combinations? I need inspiration!
Thanks for reading, and I hope you all have an amazing week. :)
