Holiday Gift Guide: Gifts For Your Mom

Hi everyone! It's been a while since my last post, but I can proudly say that I have officially graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology! It's been a busy past few weeks, but now I'll have so much more free time to devote to blogging, as well as my new contributing writing position over at College Fashion starting in January (it's an amazing website, please go check it out)!

The holidays are right around the corner, and if you're anything like me, you've procrastinated and waited until the last minute to get your friends and loved ones the perfect gifts. Below are some items that I think would be great for my mother, and hopefully you can find some inspiration for your own mothers, or any other special person in your life. If you missed my last post on what to get for your best friend, you can find that here! Read below to see some great gifts for moms!

1. Philosophy Pure & Glowing Purity and Moisturizer Duo from Ulta ($23.00)

I use this Purity cleanser with my Clarisonic Mia, and I'm absolutely in love with the lemony scent and how smooth and clean my skin feels after I use it. I think this is a product that any woman would love, and it's a great price for two awesome products. I've never personally tried Philosophy's moisturizer, but I've only heard amazing things. (I may even buy this for myself...oops!)

2. Signature Bangle from Fossil ($58.00)

I think this bangle is so beautiful and simple, and will go with virtually any outfit. Buying jewelry is kind of tough, in my opinion, because there are so many different styles and colors to choose from, but you can never go wrong with something simple and basic.

3. Key to the Recipe Measuring Spoon Set from ModCloth ($21.99)

These little measuring spoons are so cute, and can be used for both decorative and practical purposes in the kitchen. Even if the person receiving this gift isn't a master chef or baker (I'm certainly not), I figure that everyone uses measuring spoons at least every once in a while!

4. Polka Dot Recipe Box by RIFLE PAPER CO. ($34.00)

This is probably my favorite gift in this whole set, but I seriously love anything from this company. They also have a beautiful floral version of this recipe box, which I also love, but I'm really fond of how simple and basic this black and gold dot one is. I just think it would look so adorable sitting on a countertop in any kitchen, whether it actually ends up holding any recipes or not.

5. Leather iPhone 6 Case from Kate Spade ($50.00)

If there's one thing that every woman needs, it's a case to protect the one item that's with her 24/7. This one from Kate Spade is classic, durable, and most importantly, affordable.

I hope you were able to find some holiday shopping inspiration for loved ones in your life! I just realized yesterday that Christmas is just a week away, and it blew my freaking mind. I can't believe it's almost here already, time has literally flown by my last semester of college, but it's been an amazing ride.

Have a wonderful rest of the week, everyone! Talk to you soon!
