Thanksgiving Outfit Inspiration

Thanksgiving is tomorrow, which means it's time to kick off the holiday season here in the United States! I'll be spending all day at my grandparents' farm with my family, where we will eat way too much food and laugh until we have headaches. I can't wait! While my Thanksgiving forecast will be somewhere in the low 40's with an extremely casual dress code, I've created 4 outfits that I hope will inspire you (or at least get your tummies ready for some serious feasting) in preparation for tomorrow!

1. Here to Eat

This is definitely the sort of outfit I usually go for on Thanksgiving. It's festive, comfortable, and fuss-free, which is my idea of how the entire day should feel. If you're like me, you'll be spending the holiday with your relatives, which means that I'm really not trying to impress anyone with my appearance. I'm here to eat, drink, be merry, and celebrate the joy of family!

A. Cranberry Sweater-American Eagle ($40)

B. Indigo Jeggings -American Eagle ($44.95)

C. Knit Infinity Scarf-Old Navy ($19.94)

D. Black Suede Booties-DSW ($49.95)

2. Fancy Feast

For fancier Thanksgiving celebrations, this skater dress and leather jacket combo go together perfectly. Still warm (I recommend tights), still cozy (I also recommend bringing along a pair of flats), but still super fierce. Honestly, I wish I had more of an excuse to dress up for the holidays...but I'm definitely keeping this outfit in mind for New Years!

A. Skater Dress-Forever 21 ($10.32)

B. Bib Necklace-Baublebar ($58)

C. Faux Leather Blazer-Topshop ($95.00)

D. Black Suede Pumps-Forever 21 ($29.80)

E. Rich Berry Lipstick-NARS ($32)

3. Home for the Holidaze

I've been living in my black jeggings and grey v-neck lately, so this outfit just speaks to my soul. Needless to say, this is definitely my favorite outfit, and I wish it were hanging in my closet right this very minute. It's badass, casual, and still totally turkey appropriate.

A. Grey V-Neck-Target ($9)

B. Black Skinny Jeans-American Eagle ($49.95)

C. Black Riding Boots-American Eagle ($79.95)

D. Red and Black Flannel Shirt-Macy's ($44.99)

E. Black Liquid Liner-Stila ($20)

4. Cold Turkey

It's November! It's cold! Bundle up! This outfit is for all of you who will have to endure your holiday in the midst of a winter storm. I'm in love with this sweater, especially when paired with this adorable beanie and parka from Madewell. Just because it's cold doesn't mean you can't be cozy (and cute)!

Which of these looks was your favorite? For those of you that celebrate, what kind of outfit will you be wearing on Turkey Day? Thanks so much for reading, and I hope you all have a fantastic rest of the week!  :)
