Spontaneous Shuffle (Vol.III)

Hey everyone! I apologize that it's been a while since my last post, life has a way of making fun times fly by and days turn into weeks before you know it. But, I've been experimenting with some fun new products lately and I thought I'd share a quick face of the day with you all! Continue reading to see how I mixed up my collection this time.

1. NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in "Alaska"

This is a very recent purchase for me, so this is more of a first impression review than a testimony about how great it is. However, I'm so happy to finally own a nice tinted moisturizer, and I've heard amazing things about this one from NARS. Aside from the great coverage and consistency, the broad spectrum SPF 30 is what sold me. I'm a face sunscreen fanatic, and this product has the same amount of SPF as the daily moisturizer I already wear. So now I can skip the extra steps of applying both moisturizer, sunscreen, and foundation since this has everything all rolled into one! Laziness, yay!

2. Milani Baked Blush in "Luminoso"

I raved about this blush in my April Favorites post last month, and I've used it pretty much every single day since then. I seriously adore this blush, y'all. It's so glowy and beautiful, and it gives your complexion the most amazing "lit from within" appearance without ever making you look too shimmery or over done. I'm so glad I finally gave in to the Milani baked blush bandwagon, it really does deserve the hype!

3. Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal in "Inked in Pink"

I included Maybelline's Color Tattoo in "Bad to the Bronze" in my Top 10 Drugstore Beauty Products list a few weeks ago, and I'm obsessed with "Inked in Pink" for all the same reasons. It's such a simple product to use, but the results always look like you put forth much more effort than simply sweeping this across your lids. Plus, there's something about the glass packaging and the way the lid sounds with you twist it on and off that I'm in strangely in love with. For this look, I used the color tattoo as a base and then applied a few shades from my Naked 3 palette into my crease and lash lines. So shimmery, so pretty.

4. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Sooo until just now, I definitely didn't realize that I included this in my last Spontaneous Shuffle post, but come on, it's a freaking fantastic palette, it deserves all the love! This time, I applied "Burnout" on top of the "Inked in Pink" Color Tattoo, blended "Nooner" into the crease, and lined my top and bottom lash line with "Factory". This is practically the same thing I did with this palette last time, but I'm obviously really into this combination. I'm especially obsessed with "Nooner", it's such a pretty mauve shade that's absolutely perfect for deepening the crease and defining the eye. Yes please.

5. Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

I'm so excited about this mascara, guys. I'm debating whether or not I should do a full first impressions review post about it or if I should just spill all of my love for this product in this post. Either way, just know that I am a huge fan of this stuff. It adds incredible length, separation, and curl to your lashes and is 100% clump free. I've been using this on a daily basis since I bought it a few weeks ago, and I'll definitely be re-purchasing it the minute I run out of this tube. L-O-V-E.

6. Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick Duo in "Date"

I wrote about my Bite Beauty lip crayons in my January Favorites post, so I knew I was going to loooove this lipstick duo when I purchased it at Sephora last week. This duo is absolutely perfect for those of us who appreciate a nice subtle and natural lip color for every day wear. These two shades are so gorgeous, and it's nearly impossible for me to pick a favorite. "Date" is definitely the more neutral of the two, and is a great "my lips but better" color for me, and "Fig" is perfect for days where I want a little pop of color without feeling too done up. I'm keeping this bad boy in my purse all summer long (fingers crossed that it won't melt, "Date" has already cracked a bit, which left an even bigger crack in my heart).

Thanks so much for reading! I've got lots of summer content planned for the next few weeks, so check back soon for some fun new posts!
